Institutional Mission, Purpose, and Objectives
The mission and purpose of William Howard Taft University, a
private independent postsecondary institution, is to offer unique
and innovative distance learning educational programs at a reasonable
cost to qualified applicants, with a particular focus on those
who are mature adults, employed on a full-time basis, or for whom
place of residence, travel requirements, or finances are constraining
factors.
The University is committed to providing a quality education
responsive to the needs of society, now and into the future. Valuing
the rich variety of cultures, races, ages, religions and ethnic
backgrounds in the world today, the University seeks students
from all regions of the United States, and English-speaking students
from around the world.
| It is an objective of the University
to utilize advancing technologies in the delivery of its educational
services and, when necessary, reject outdated educational
standards if such standards are inconsistent with providing
efficient and quality distance education programs. |
