Message from the President

Welcome to William Howard Taft University, a member of The Taft University System. In 1976, Taft University began by offering continuing education programs to certified public accountants, and later formed Taft Law School - becoming America's oldest nationally accredited distance learning law school. In 2008, Taft Law School became a freestanding institution.

William Howard Taft University continues to offer degree programs through The Boyer Graduate School of Education and The W. Edwards Deming School of Business, evolving into one of the most respected nationally accredited distance learning institutions in the country.

With over 30 years of delivering quality, affordable and flexible distance education programs to thousands of professionals and adult learners, we understand the needs of today's mature students. You will find the learning experience engaging, meaningful, and rigorous, while allowing you to fit your educational goals around your work, family, and personal life.

A critical part of a positive learning experience is the quality and commitment of the faculty. Taft University faculty are uniquely qualified and credentialed in the subject areas that they teach. The combination of theory and relevant real-world experience provides learning outcomes that students can begin to apply immediately to their work environments.

Whether your goal is career advancement or personal growth we hope that you find a program that meets your aspirations. We welcome the opportunity to exceed your expectations and invite you to contact us to learn more.
